Chen Goldberg announced as Keynote speaker for NIC X Edition 2022

VP of Engineering,
Google Cloud

Google’s cloud engineering heavyweight Chen Goldberg has been named the keynote speaker at the annual Nordic Infrastructure Conference. This will be Golberg’s first time to Norway.

As Vice President of Engineering at Google Cloud, Goldberg is the prime mover behind Google Cloud’s open core vision and the success of the application modernization portfolio.
“Some people change the industry, and when they speak, you should listen and see what you can take away from what they say. Chen Goldberg is one of these people», said conference organizer Arne Bergersen. “We have secured an industry changer for our keynote. I could not be happier."

Goldberg leads hundreds of engineers worldwide and is credited with building the high-performance culture that underpins Kubernetes, Serverless, Developer Experience, Service Mesh, Hybrid & Multicloud development.

“I’m excited to visit Norway and engage with IT professionals at the Nordic Infrastructure Conference. It’s an honor to keynote its 10th anniversary,” said Goldberg. “Since this event was born a decade ago, our industry has gone through significant innovation, with cloud computing making digital transformation a reality. I look forward to discussing how together we can enable organizations to achieve their goals and address the most pressing challenges facing our world today.”

NIC is well-known in the tech industry for its practical approach to complex technologies by focusing more on demos and less on slides.

“NIC is a great conference for IT Professionals, IT Decision-Makers and leading technical speakers to learn about and discuss the latest technology. I am excited that Chen Goldberg is the Keynote speaker at NIC 2022, as she has unique expertise in building, growing, and leading high-performance engineering teams”, said Managing Director Google Cloud Nordic Region, Eva Fors.

Previously announced keynote Mark Russinovich is unable to attend due to the change of dates for NIC 2022.
