Distinguished Speaker Emeritus, Ulrich Homann returns to NIC 2022

Homann is confirmed as closing keynote speaker at the Nordic Infrastructure Conference June
1 st.
Homann’s tenure within Microsoft spans more than three decades as a renowned engineering
and development leader. He has spent most of his career using well-defined applications and
architectures to simplify and streamline the development of business applications. As Chief
Architect for worldwide enterprise services, he drove the technology strategy and global
initiatives behind private cloud, modern data center, customer experience management, social
enterprise, commerce services, applications design, productivity, desktop as a service, big data,
and in-memory computing. Homann is responsible for customer-led innovation and executive
engagements on complex initiatives across the globe.
In 2021, Homann received the Distinguished Speaker Emeritus lifetime award from Microsoft,
recognizing the contribution his executive briefings and engagements make to the business.
Only a small number of Microsoft employees have achieved this high honor.

Microsoft ensures the session will contain all the good stuff we want to know, and a lot of the
stuff we didn’t know that we need. We are thrilled to have Uli back on stage for the 10th
anniversary of NIC”.
Homann’s keynote presentation will conclude the first day of the main conference, June 1st.
